SoundBites : The Exhibit
In the spirit of Hip Hop, Roger Mooking has “sampled” his own original art to create an interactive exhibit called SoundBites. The exhibition is a ‘celebration of chaos for an attention deficit world’. It is an immersive adventure of music, stories, visual art and videos. Exploring the journey through the cycles of life (conception to adolescence, adolescence thru adulthood, adulthood through end of life), SoundBites is presented in these three “movements” The Learning, The Living and The Leaving.
Roger Mooking : SoundBites is showing at The Art Gallery of Hamilton until February 23rd 2025. SoundBites was also the inspiration and featured exhibition for the 2024 AGH art+music+food Festival with special events including an opening reception, artist talk, 90’s Hip Hop vinyl night and The Gold Fish Finale Dinner.
